Miles. Paved country road, flat to rolling, with one difficult
hill beginning
mile 8.2, and one short stretch of grass. Course certified

Location: Start/Finish
area at the Central Training facility (CTF) located on Bear
Creek Road between Route 95 and Route 58. [area map].
Directions: Take
I-40 West from Knoxville,
Exit 364 Melton Hill Dam & Oak Ridge; turn right on State
Route 95 (North) for 4.8 miles to left on Bear Creek Road
for 2.1 miles to Central Training Facility (on the left).
Pre-Registration: $20
(MUST be postmarked by 11/10/2009). Pre-registered ORTC members,
pre-registered Wackenhut employees, and pre-registered DOE
employees receive a $3.00 discount. T-shirts
guaranteed only for pre-registered runners.
Late
and Day-of-Race Registration: $25
(race day registration from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.). Late registrants receive shirts as supplies last or at a later date.
Awards:
Overall awards, male & female, three deep. Masters (40+) male & female.
Grandmasters (50+) male & female. Other awards three deep, male & female,
in the following age divisions: Under 20, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49,
50-54,
55-59,
60-69, 70+.
